Stem Cells are unspecialized cells which are found only in multicellular organisms which can give rise to number of cells of the same type. The most important property of the stem cells that it has the ability to self-renew. Stem cell banking offers the chance to cryogenically save stem cells at their major state for latter use in its applications. Stem cells are discovered and used from different regions of the body such as peripheral blood, bone marrow and umbilical cord. Among these sources, Umbilicalcord blood is thought to be prepared wellspring of stem cells and can be protected among labour and used for pharmaceuticals when required.
